Also Shizuo used to be the Nightblood dragon himself. Once he was purfied by the Sun God dragon however, he became a part of that bloodline. The darkness however needed to go somewhere so it hid in a scroll and entered Eiyanna's womb and into Nakota's fetus while he was developing.
